About Us
We are a family run sailing school who offer sailing courses from beginner to Yachtmaster Prep. The sea school is recognised by the Royal Yachting Association and is based in Port Dinorwic on the Menai Straits, North Wales. This small picturesque harbour is approximately half way between Bangor and Caernarfon. The island of Anglesey is close by offering countless sailing experiences and is ideal for spotting the vast amount of marine and land sea life.
Andrew Wilcock is the School Principal and chief instructor of Wilco Sea School and has amassed over 23 years of sailing experience. The past five years Andrew has been skipper of his own boat 'Sea Breeze'. After so many years experience, Andrew is skillfully able to explain and understand possible problems students may come across when learning to sail. Andrew is qualified up to Yachtmaster Instructor, recognised by the RYA, but crucially also has his Certificate of Education.
